Tumby ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Tumby app, you agree to this policy.
Who this app is for
Tumby is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts or use the app directly. Information about a child is entered and controlled by the parent.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information (such as your name and email) from that provider to create your account.
Information you provide about your child
To personalize the experience, you may enter your child's first name, age, food preferences, allergy flags, and progress on trying foods. You choose what to enter.
Usage data
We may collect limited technical information needed to operate the app reliably, such as app version and error logs.
How we use information
- To provide and personalize the app's daily coaching features
- To save your child's progress across sessions and devices
- To respond to your support requests
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service
How information is stored
Account and progress data is stored using Google Firebase, a secure cloud service. Access is protected by security rules so that only your authenticated account can access your family's data.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We only use trusted service providers (such as Google Firebase and sign-in providers) strictly to operate the app.
Children's privacy
Tumby is designed for parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any information about a child is provided and managed by the parent or caregiver. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your child's information in the app at any time.
- You can delete individual children or reset progress in Settings.
- You can delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings. This is permanent.
- You can contact us to request access to or deletion of your data.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your associated data from our systems.

Tumby provides general guidance and encouragement, not medical or nutritional advice. Always consult your pediatrician regarding your child's health, diet, or allergies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new date.
