What exactly does Tumby do?
Tumby gives you one small, science-informed food mission each day for your child. You serve the food using a simple, low-pressure tip, then tap how it went. Over time, gentle repeated exposure helps your child feel comfortable with new foods — and a playful buddy grows to keep everyone motivated.
Is Tumby a medical or nutrition app?
No. Tumby offers general guidance and encouragement based on common feeding approaches. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for your pediatrician. Always talk to a healthcare professional about your child's nutrition, allergies, or any feeding concerns.
What age is Tumby for?
Tumby is designed for parents of toddlers and young children — roughly ages 1 to 6 — who are navigating picky eating. The app is used by parents, not children directly.
My child refused the food. Did I fail?
Not at all! Refusing is a normal part of the process, and it still counts as progress in Tumby. Even looking at, touching, or smelling a new food is a win. Children often need many calm exposures before they'll taste something — Tumby helps you keep going without pressure.
Can I track more than one child?
Yes. You can add multiple children, each with their own foods, progress, streak, and buddy. Switch between them anytime from the Today screen.
How do allergies work?
You can flag known allergies for each child. Tumby avoids suggesting foods that conflict with flagged allergens and shows a warning. Always confirm with your pediatrician before introducing any common allergen.
How much does Tumby cost?
Tumby is launching on iOS and Android. Details about pricing and any premium features will be shown in the app. Core daily coaching is designed to be accessible to every parent.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Settings in the app and choose to delete your account. This removes your account and all associated data. You can also delete individual children or reset progress at any time.
